Caring For Your Bag
Leather becomes softer and suppler over time due to the natural oils in your skin. Each bag will begin to show its own unique characteristics with patina and wear, displaying your unique adventure. Each bag is handcrafted by the manufacturer using sewing machines and traditional leather working tools. There may be variances due to the nature of a handcrafted item. We believe this adds to the uniqueness of the bag and connects us more to the individual who made it.
Properly caring for your bag will ensure it lasts longer. Clean the leather with a slightly damp cloth using a cleaner made for leather. Every so often, use a leather condition to keep your leather from drying out. Spot clean the Kitenge with a damp cloth. Do not immerse your bag in water. When storing your bag, fill it with something like bubble wrap so it will hold its shape.
